The Observation Gyro Drop Tower is a combination of a leisurely ride and a free fall from the highest Ride point. The gondola slowly rotates around the tower during the lifting time. At the top position of the tower, the gondola stops the ascent while it can continue turning. The real freefall experience is followed by very smooth braking effect. The programming contains also a version, whereby the free fall is avoided: The gondola goes down slowly.
