Pitching in to help end the pandemic

Since the first lock down in March of 2020 in the UK there were many days and months of not leaving the house and witnessing our industry suffering as theme parks, attractions and zoos were shut. In December we were locked down in the UK for the third time and I wanted to do something to help so I signed up as a volunteer vaccinator. I have been volunteering since early January and have met amazing people, each with their own stories of not seeing children and grandchildren, loneliness and isolation, fear, and loss. I have also seen tears of joy, relief and hope with each vaccination. It has been a wonderful experience all around and my contribution to help return to normal and helping us all get back to work!
